First of all, the adorable toothbrush is bendable and flexible, so I don't have to worry about my kids biting down to hard on it or falling and possibly injuring themselves like they would on a traditional hard toothbrush. Then, they've paired the darling toothbrush with a strawberry-banana flavored tooth gel that is actually really yummy! Then I found out the nutritional value that Xylitol products have. Apparently, Xylitol is all-natural and it has anti-bacterial properties, so it basically gets the germs out of my kids mouths with just a simple swoosh of the brush. Then I found out that Xylitol actually helps to build calcium and enamel for my little one's teeth. This tooth gel has no fluoride, so its safe for my kids to swallow too. I took a chance ordering this one as it is brand new on the market and I couldn't find any reviews on it yet anywhere. However, the horn in it that's supposed to keep baby from slipping under really appealed to me, because my 9-month-old son has recently developed a fear of the water after flailing and slipping under the water once about a month ago. My husband was right there to catch him, but it was a scary enough experience for him that he now screams whenever we put him in the tub. I thought the smaller tub with the horn in it would help him to feel more secure. He still screams as soon as he hears the water running, so it didn't work. But that's beside the point. The first time I put my son in this thing, I noticed that the part where you put the baby so the horn holds him in place is entirely too narrow for any baby who is old enough to be sitting up unsupported. Especially boys! The horn was squishing him! I mean like not all of him would fit behind... The "squishing" isn't really that big a deal. it doesn't bother him at all. When he got too big to fit in the narrower portion , we just moved him to the other side of the horn. It works great as a buffer in our large jacuzzi tub as he feels more secure in it and we also use less water to fill the tub for him to splash in. It is easy to clean and inflate. It takes me a couple minutes to inflate manually and the seal holds pretty well. It is easy to deflate and stores compactly. I took it with me to travel and it fit compactly in my suitcase.
